Apple Gourd
This favorite of many crafters resembles the shape of a lushes apple. No two will grow alike, but will always resemble a large apple. Crafters use their imaginations in many ways, as some have viewed tall slender apple gourds for crafting as green peppers. They can be crafted or painted as apples, peppers, pumpkins or what ever the boundaries of your imagination will allow.

Kettle Gourd (Same as Martin House Gourd)
A large round kettle shaped gourd that is slightly tapered towards the stem. Sometimes called a birdhouse gourd because they make excellent homes for birds. Kettle gourds have been used around the world for thousands of years for many purposes, and are among the favorites of crafters and artist alike.

Maranka Gourd
The Maranka Gourd is a member of the dipper family. It is sometimes called a Dolphin, Turtle, Monkey, Dinosaur, Alley Oop or Alligator Gourd because of the irregular ridges and grooves along its surface that covers the entire bulb area.
